This is the first in a short series of free-writes I began a few years ago. My main thought at the time was characters living in a post-apocalyptic world, and their ways of processing it. Not sure if I’m going to do anything more with these segments, but I enjoy looking back through them on occasion. I can kind of see them appearing in graphic-novel form…
